Came out today for a no ac issue. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that they had another company come out to perform maintenance and they were told that the system needed multiple parts and it was not worth fixing. The homeowner would like a second opinion. I Recommended performing preventative maintenance on the system to see if I find the same issues. The system was operating upon arrival. The homeowner agreed and I began performing preventative maintenance for a amana heat pump model #Aepf313716aa, serial #0910068921. Performed preventative maintenance for a amana heat pump. I powered the system down and removed the access panels. Replaced the air filter size 20x25x5 Merv11 (homeowner supplied). The evaporator coil’s are dirty and should be cleaned to help improve the heat transfer process (see photos). Tested the drain pan and drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and

Performed preventative maintenance for gas furnace. Inspected all the electrical components. Tested the amp draw from the blower and inducer. Both were operating within the manufacturer spec. Merv11 air filter still has plenty of life left in it. Inspect the gas piping. Cleaned the burner, inducer port, flame sensor and burner box. Performed a combustion analysis on the furnace. System is operating at 83% efficiency with a CO level of 15ppm. System also had a temperature rise of 51°. Customer might be interested in a humidifier. Attached to the invoice is an estimate for an Aprilaire bypass humidifier. System is operating properly at this time.

Performed preventative maintenance for gas furnace. Cleaned the burners, flame sensor, inducer port and burner box. Inspected all the electrical components. Tested the amp draw from the blower and inducer. Both are operating within the manufacturer spec. Customer didn't need the Merv11 filter replaced yet. It still fairly clean. Performed a combustion analysis on the furnace. System is operating at 83% efficiency with a CO level of 17ppm. Customer also has a bypass humidifier. Humidifier had issues last year so the water panel is still in good shape. Next season the water panel will need to be replaced. Inspected the gas piping. System had a 53° temp rise. System is operating properly at this time.
