Lisa - Southampton, PA 18966
I recently moved into this house and wanted to start fresh by having the vents/ductwork cleaned. Other reviews led me to Chud. And Veteran owned so that was a plus! The guys were very professional and walked me through the process. Showed me some of the areas that they were cleaning and they really needed it! I noticed a difference right away with how clean the air in the house was not long after they were finished. It was worth every penny. If you are thinking about having your vents/ductwork cleaned, do it. If you are looking for a company that does it, call Chud.

Performed air duct cleaning and sanitation on a 5 bedroom single system house. All vents and ductwork are clear of dust and debris at this time. System is functioning properly at this time. Recommend duct cleaning every 3-4 years. I did notice an abundance of rust in the ductwork above the unit due to running the humidifier too high. Performed a preventative maintenance on the heater. Customer said the thermostat was turning blank after running for a little while. After inspection I noticed when the thermostat went blank the high limit code on the furnace was coming up. System will need a coil cleaning to prevent that from happening. Also their was a leak on the exhaust vent that will need a little bit of silicone. Other then that system is running good. Cleaned the flame sensor, also cleared out the trap for the furnace drain. Amped out the The blower motor and the inducer motor. Condensate pump is working. System is operating at this time.

65.5” long, 44.5” wide and 27.5” height for a natural gas, single phase electric 208/230 volt package unit. Supply 24.5” by 18.5” and return is 24.5” by 24.5”. There is no visible nameplate data on the unit as it is likely between 40 years old. Fan is 1/8HP, 825 RPM. Customer stated the unit 3 ton and they will remove and lift the new unit into place with their fork truck that they have on site. N/C, estimate. Chud will do some research and get a quote over within the next several days. ****Pictures are in service titan for reference.****

Replaced furnace control board. Cycled and tested, system working properly at this time.

Came out today for a Lennox system not operating. Upon inspection I found that the thermostat would call for ac and the condenser would turn on but the blower will not operate. I noticed that the control board usually has a led status light that blinks. The led light is not operating. The control board is receiving the call for the fan however it still won’t operate. My recommendation is to replace the control board and then continue diagnostics. With a power surge the may be other issues with the system. We will need to get the control board operating before we can state that the system is operating properly. This is a Lennox system model #G60UH-36A-070-07, serial #5907F05065. Chud office will have to reach out to the homeowner with a proper repair quote.

Customer called for air conditioning not working and a tripped breaker. Upon inspection I found a melted line voltage wire to the compressor that melted into the common wire for the condenser fan motor. Removed damaged connector and repaired the broke fan wire. Tested the system upon completion. The amperage for the fan motor was at 1.1A rated for 1.5A this is high and the fan motor could fail in the near future. We did replace the capacitor this summer. Amperage for the compressor was 9.9A with an RLA of 17.9A. This is within the range it’s expected to work per manufacturer. System is operating properly at this time. Keep in mind that since both components wires touched and tripped the breaker they could have done some damage to the compressor or fan motor. This in turn could make either one fail sooner than later.

On arrival customer advised that carpet was wet near furnace. Inspected drain lines and checked filter (16x20x1) and also verified proper refrigerant charge. Determined drain line was blocked. Completed PVC rebuild just from coil to existing gravity drain. Overall system is 20 years old and we recommend upgrading the equipment. Customer is open to getting a quote to upgrade. Indicated that it is not urgent. Will involve a site visit to discuss specific details such as lineset placement and other changes that are not routine with just an equipment swap out. System currently operable and draining properly. ADP COIL M#HA04236E170B180573, S#6002G36114. (16x20x1) filter.

No AC call. Discovered system blowing hot air. Compressor seems to run but not pumping refrigerant properly. Evaporator coil is getting really hot signifying a failed reversing valve. System is over 15 years old and still uses R 22 refrigerant. System is in poor shape and will need to be replaced, we don’t repair failing R22 systems that are over 15 years old. Thermostat is old mercury style and is missing front cover plate and will need to be replaced as well. Job requires- Honeywell T4 (2 heat, 1 cool) heat pump thermostat, 2 ton heat pump with matching air handler and heat pack. Gravity drain for condensation. Will need yellow jack to lift heat pump onto roof. Old Equipment- Air Handler model# CB29M-21/26-1P Serial # 5802A 26530 Heat pump model # HP29-024-3P Serial # 5802A 24623 Heat pack model # ECB29-10-2P

Came out and connected the heat kit to the 60 amp breakers. Connected the high voltage to the new Trane system. Once the system was connected I tested the system and called for heat. Jims electrician verified that we are using the proper wires for the system. The system is operating properly at this time. Bill out.

Came out today for a Goodman system blowing hot air. Model #Gsx130421ba, serial #1012658396. Upon inspection I found that the system had a temperature split of 2. When inspecting the condenser I found that the fan is running but not the compressor. I shut the system down and took a reading of the capacitor. The capacitor read 15+4 when rated for 45+5. I replaced the capacitor and the system started right up. The system has been running for about 15 minutes with no issues. The temperature split is now at 20 and the compressor amp draw is at 11. The refrigerant pressures are 166/305. The system is operating properly at this time.

Matthew M.
Installed new Trane equipment. Project included new pad whip an disconnect. Installed new thermostat adapted to supply an return added new 16x26x1 filter rack. Adapted to gas line added new gas valve. An high voltage added new switch receptacle. Adapted to lineset flu pipe added new condensate pump with new vynl. System is tested an working properly at this time.

Performed preventative maintenance on Coleman AC system. Replaced 16x25x1 air filter. Tested evaporator coil pan and condensate pump for proper drainage. Temperature split is at 20° with a supply air temperature of 49°. This unit has the proper refrigerant charge. Compressor-5.9 RLA Condenser fan motor-0.3 FLA . Both of these readings are within the amperage rating for this unit. System is operating properly at this time and is ready for the upcoming season.
