Came out today for a no heat call for a Goodman system model #ARUF37C14AC, serial #1807304934. Another tech was out on 12/13/22 and they found a blown fuse. He replaced it with a popper so the homeowner could reset it if needed. Upon arrival the system was calling for heat and the popper was tripped. I removed the access panels and reset the popper. It Tripp within 3 seconds. I turned the system off at the thermostat and set the blower for auto. I reset the popper again and again it tripped. I advised the homeowner that there is a short in the system somewhere an electrical troubleshooting is needed. I let the homeowner know the price for troubleshooting and explained that if I started today I would only be able to check the indoor unit. I cannot open the electrical compartment of the heat pump due to the rain. The homeowner stated that he would like us to make a return visit on a day when it is not raining so it could be done all at once. See estimate for pricing. No Charge for diagno

Went to a no heat call. Nothing was working when I got their. Took the fuse out put a 3amp popper in system worked just fine. Refrigerant levels where good and all low voltage wiring indoor and outdoor look fine. Also, the emergency heat was working as well. I could not find a reason for the fuse to pop. I left the popper in so if the issue happens again the home owner can reset it until we can come back and fix the issue. M#ARUF37C14AC s#1807304934

Performed preventative maintenance for gas furnace. Inspected all the electrical components. Confirmed proper high and low voltages. Customer replaced the standard air filter (20x25x1). Cleaned the burners, flame sensor and burner compartment. Tested the amp draw for the blower and inducer. Both are operating within the manufacturer specifications. Customer thought the thermostat was having issues heating the home. During the maintenance I found the 2 stage gas valve making loud buzzing noise. Confirmed low voltage to the valve but it was not opening. Will need to replace the gas valve under factory warranty. System is 3-4 years old and I confirmed a 10 year warranty. This is a chud installed system. I ordered the gas valve from Lennox that should arrive tomorrow Nov. 30th 2022 per the order receipt. Lennox order #0035296120. Chud will call when part arrives to schedule repair. Found white residue on the flue piping which shows signs of moisture getting into the system. Recommend havin

Performed preventative maintenance for gas furnace. System is fairly old and from 1999. Inspected all the electrical components. Confirmed proper high and low voltages. Customers system should have a 16x25x1 filter not a 14x25x1. Saw a gap allowing dirt to flow through. Cleaned the burners, flame sensor and burner compartment. Performed a combustion analysis on the furnace. System is operating at 81.3% efficiency with a CO level of 25ppm. Tested the amp draw for the blower and inducer. Both are operating within the manufacturer specs but a little on the high side. Recommend updating the system in the near future due to age and condition. That being said system is operating properly at this time. Model #Kg6ra096c-16 Serial #Kg699158834

Performed preventative maintenance for a Bryant furnace model #312aav048110, serial #3402a44386. I powered the system down and removed the access panels. Removed and cleaned carbon off of the flame sensor and cleaned out the burners and burner box. Replaced the air filter size 20x25x4 homeowner supplied. Checked the pressures switch to ensure that there are no clogs. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I powered the system back up and called for heat. I took a combustion analysis test and received the following readings, o2 is at 17.6% and the co levels are 58ppm. The co levels are elevated however this is probably due to age. The inducer motor amp draw is .22 and the blower motor amp draw is 6.7. The system is operating properly at this time however due to the age of the system chud cannot Guarantee that there won’t be issues in the future. My recommendation is to update the system to prevent issues in the future.

Performed preventative maintenance for high efficiency furnace. Inspected all the electrical components. Replaced the #401 air filter per customer request. Confirmed proper high and low voltages. Tested amp draw from the blower and inducer. Both were operating within the manufacturer spec. System had a temperature rise of 54°. Made sure all rubber tubing to collector box were clear. Cleaned the flame sensor, burners and burner box. Made sure fresh air intake was clear. Performed a combustion analysis on the furnace. System is operating at 94.7% efficiency with a CO level of 15ppm. Tested all safety devices for proper function. System is operating properly at this time. Customer renewed the repair agreement for the system. Found water heater leaking from the bottom. This is the start of a leak and is not major or serious yet but will be in the near future. Attached is a quote for replacement. Earliest install date is 10/20/22 per the office. Customer approved water heater replacement Fo

Performed preventative maintenance for a Lennox system model #XC14-042-230A07, serial #5816E01487. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that there was a loud banging sound coming from the system when it shuts down. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. Tested the drain pan, drain line and condensate pump with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. I observed the condensate pump running but when it stops it make a banging sound. The condensate pump is about 8 years old and should be replaced. The homeowner agreed and I removed the old condensate pump and installed a new 115v pro select condensate pump. I connected all the proper wiring and vinyl tubing. I tested the condensate pump with several bottles of water. The new pump is operating properly. Checked all electrical components needed for air conditioning to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The air filter size 20x25x5 was replaced by the homeowner in July of this year. Performed preventative maintenance for air-conditioning system as well as checked out the water heater due to customer found water on the floor. Inspected all the electronic components. Confirmed proper high and low voltages. tested the temperature split between the supply and return. System is operating at a 20° temperature differential. Tested the amp draw for the blower, compressor and fan motor. All were operating within the manufacturer specs. Inspected the drain for blockages. Tested the condensate pump for proper operation. Replaced the standard air filter (16x20x1). Filter should be changed once every 30-90 days. Air conditioning system is operating properly at this time. I then inspected the water heater. Found the tank to be leaking. This is currently a minor leak but needs to be replaced in the near future. Attached will be estimated for a 40 Gal power vent and a 50 Gal power vent. Customer asked for pricing to upsize due to growing family. Chud installed this water heater a

Came out today for a system not cooling properly. Upon inspection I found that the thermostat was calling for ac at 72° and it is currently 83 at the thermostat. The temperature split is at a 20. I noticed that there is a new air filter in the system and a severely clogged filter on the floor. The condenser coil’s are clean and in good condition. The refrigerant pressures are 155/326. Sc is at 7 and sh is at 23. I cannot find any issues with the system at this time. In my professional opinion the system is operating properly. This is a Warehouse setting where they use machinery that put off a lot of heat and we are also currently in the middle of a heat wave. Bill out due to contact not here.

On arrival found breaker for air handler shut off. Inspected air handler briefly just to make sure filter was clear. Found a failed capacitor in outdoor unit and replaced it on site. This system is an older style R-22 system. I strictly addressed the problem for this system and did not tamper with any other controls due to the age. At this time the system is functional. Amperage readings on condenser fan and compressor are elevated but within range. Chud would recommend getting some quotes to upgrade the system as components could fail during the season.
