Came out today for a air flow issue. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that the whole hose heats except her daughters room located on the first floor. This is a air temp furnace model #Kg7sk072c-24b1, serial # Kgg161200098. Upon inspection I found that there was a duct added to the system located right off of the supply. This duct is for the second floor. The first floor is cold while the second floor is hot. I closed two of the vents on the 2nd floor the third vent you are not able to close. But still there is very little air flow going to the downstairs. I explained to the homeowner that once you add ductwork to an existing system especially right off the supply you will loose air flow in other areas.

Came out today to install a pure air kit on a Lennox furnace. I shut the system down and removed the access panels. Installed a new pure air kit x8796 and tested for proper operation. The system is operating properly at this time. Homeowner pre paid for today’s service.

Performed dryer vent cleaning. Dryer vent, flex hose and lint trap are all clear of lint and debris at this time. Dryer is functioning properly at this time. Recommend dryer vent cleaning every 1-2 years. Thank you for your business! Customer just had dryer vent cleaned recently and is having an excessive buildup of lint in the trap. Customer may need a backdraft damper due to the short vent run of problem persists.

Tightened any screws that seem to be loose. Performed a combustion analysis on the system. System is operating at 92% efficiency with a CO level of 21ppm. Performed a humidifier service on a bypass humidifier. Cleaned the housing out and replaced the #35 water panel. This system also has a Lennox pure air system (X8796). Due to this being a new customer I didn’t have the kit with me. Will need to return to replace kit. Installed a temporary filter since the current one was 16 months old and 4 months over due. Wasn’t comfortable leaving old filter. Customer prepaid for the pure air kit replacement. The office will call to schedule a ret

Did a prevented maintenance on a gas furnace. During the maintenance I cleaned the flame sensor and also cleaned out the burner Rack and the blower motor housing. Checked all electrical connections making sure they were tight and secure. Also did a.m. drilling on the inducer motor and the blower motor and the unit itself, all amp readings met the furnace specs. Also did a combustion test and the CO level was 22 and the O2 level was 14. I also shot vac the entire unit out due to very dusty. Will also be recommending a duct cleaning also change out to 16 x 25 by one filter. Also did a maintenance on the humidifier swapping out the number 10 panel.. Also I made sure the humidifier was draining properly and that the condensate pump was working. System is operating properly at this point. M#EL280UH090P48B-01 s#5914M07830

Customer called due to boiler system not having any heat this morning when they turned it on. Upon inspection I found that the aquastat relay was going bad and was sticking. This caused the heat call to not fully process which didn’t allow the boiler to heat up. I happen to have the proper aquastat relay on my truck and was able to repair it on the spot. Customer approved repair as well as maintenance when repaired. Installed the new aquastat relay and performed the maintenance on the boiler. Inspected all electrical components. Confirmed proper high and low voltage. confirmed proper 18 psi water pressure. Clean the burners and the burner compartment. Performed combustion analysis on the boiler. System is operating at 83.7% efficiency with a CO level of 14ppm. System is now operating properly and ready for the heating season.

Came out today to diagnose a Mitsubishi mini split not operating. Upon arrival I called tech support. While on hold I took a look at the condenser and found that the microchip attached to the board has a lot of white corrosion on it. While on the phone with tech support they had me check multiple items on the system. We found a bad control board part #K9709369012, compressor part #K9332603002, a bad fan motor part #K9603074036, and a bad expansion valve coil part #K9970103025. Tech support did say that the parts are covered under warranty but not the labor. Chud will have to decide to either replace just the parts or change out the whole condenser.

Customers Fujitsu mini split system is not functioning properly. The indoor is displaying “serial communication error”. Attempted to reset system and attempted to trouble shoot the error. Contacted Fujitsu technical support and was given a case number and told we would be called back. Spent 1 hours time trying to reach out to tech support but we will need to ask if we can schedule a time to reach out to them at a later time.

Customer called for no air conditioning. Customer stated that the condensing unit would not come on. Upon inspection I found that none of the equipment was actually running. Found the blower motor run capacitor swollen at the top which is a sign it has gone bad. Replaced the run capacitor for the PSC motor. The blower now come on at work but still no action from the condensing unit. Went out to inspect the condensing unit and found the contactor pulled in but no activity from the fan motor or compressor. The capacitor checked out OK for the condensing unit but found no power coming out of the contactor when there was line voltage coming in. That shows me that the contactor was no longer good And needed to be replaced. Replaced the contactor and he condenser came on with no issue. System is now operating with a 20° temperature differential and all components are working as they should.

Customer called to have preventative maintenance for air conditioning system. Customer also stated the system was not keeping up set temperature. Upon inspection I found the system with a 20° differential but the new nest thermostat was turned on for home/away assist. This setting tries to keep the system efficiency up and in doing so turns the ac setting to 76° automatically. With the system doing this it will struggle during hot weeks to maintain 70 when you get home. Turned off this setting so it stays on your preferred setting. Inspected all the electrical components. Confirmed proper high and low voltage. Condensate pump is working as it should. Filter was changed by customer and the last filter wasn’t that dirty. System is operating properly at this time.

Came out today for a no ac call. Lennox air handler model # EL16XC1-048-230A01, serial #5821D12259. Upon inspection I noticed that the system was not operating at all. The secondary drain pan had water in it and tripped the wet switch. I cleaned off the wet switch, vacuumed out the water and opened the evaporator access panel. There I found some debris blocking the drain line. I removed the debris and the system started to drain properly. The temperature split is at a 20 and the system is operating properly at this time.
