Performed preventative maintenance for a ac system. This system is a York furnace with a Lennox evaporator coil and a York condenser. Evaporator coil model #cx35-49c-6F-20. Serial #1522g73715. I powered the system down and removed the access panels. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in great condition. Tested the drain pan, drain line and condensate pump with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. The air filter size 16x25x1 was replaced by the homeowner 5 days ago. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I powered the system back up and called for AC. The condenser coils are clean and in good condition. The condenser amp draws are .87 for the fan and 7.4 for the compressor. The temperature split is at a 20° split. I tested both zones to ensure proper operation. The system is operating properly at this time. No charge homeowner pre paid.

Return to correct exhaust PVC. We will eliminate some of the elbows and correct the outdoor terminations. 2” PVC and assorted 2” elbows/couplings needed. We will also make any necessary adjustments to the water heater flue which is 4” 26GA and transitions to 3” 26GA. See PA for any questions. Minor adjustments were made on 03/07/23 by PA. N/C, customer has 5 year “can’t write a check” warranty on new install. Installed on 02/09/23. Completed exhaust vent modification, heater appears to be draining water runoff properly. Re ran hwh flue to allow pitch on furnace exhaust. Installed -.10 pressure switch. Cycled and tested, system working properly at this time.

Performed preventative maintenance for a Lennox furnace serial #1715L04098 Model #ML180UH110P60C-55. Upon arrival the thermostat was calling for 72° and the thermostat was satisfied. I raised the temperature to 78°F and observed the system starting normally. I took a combustion test and received the following readings, o2 is 10% and the co levels are 9ppm. The blower motor amp draw is 5.2 and the supply temp is 121°F. I powered the system down and inspected all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The air filter will be changed with the ac maintenance. Removed and cleaned carbon off of the flame sensor, cleaned out the burners and burner box. Cleaned out the blower compartment and checked to ensure that the blower wheel was clean and in good condition. I re installed the access panels and tested for proper operation. The system is operating properly at this time. Charged the quoted price per dispatch.

Install OEM 2 stage gas valve on newly installed Goodman furnace. The unit is currently operating, however the plastic connection on the valve is very loose and we want to be proactive to avoid future nuisance callbacks. Goodman M#GM9C961004CN, S#2212151709. Came out today to replace a gas valve on a newly installed Goodman furnace. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that the system stopped working again on Saturday morning. The homeowner left the home and when she returned the heat was on. She turned the temperature down last night due to it being warm and this morning the system failed again. I was able to receive an error code but it’s very vague. Error code EEO is a lock out code for to many retries. 9h1 is a 1st stage call for heat. I powered the system down and reset the system. When I powered the system back up it started without any issues. I let the system run for about a half hour before I powered it back down. I removed and replaced the gas valve under warranty. No heat call. On arrival furnace set for 67, and was satisfied at 67. I spent extensive time checking every wiring connection, pressure switch, rollout devices and molex pin connections. The gas valve molex connection was loose, however the issue never duplicated itself while I was on site. I advised the homeowner that she should keep the thermostat on a permanent hold at 67 degrees for the next week. I am going to proactively order a warranty (2 stage gas valve) for the unit and we will schedule return visit when part is available. Currently the unit is operating properly. Came out today for a thermostat issue on a new system that was installed early this month. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that the system would sporadically turn on and off. I spoke with PA about this issue before I came out today. Per PA I replaced the t4 thermostat right away. I removed the old thermostat, programmed a new one serial #2224jjf59165. Once the thermostat was installed and connected I tested the system by calling for heat. The system started without any issues. I explained to the homeowner that when you call for heat the furnace has to go through the order of operations before the system heats. The system does not start immediately after changing the temperature. I also explained that the reason the blower is still running after the call for heat has ended is to cool the manifold to prevent damage. I went through the thermostat settings with the homeowner and showed her how to properly change the temperature. Tested the system multiple times for proper operation. The

Came out today and performed preventative maintenance on a weil-McLain boiler system. Model #CG-5-SPDN, CP2342195. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that the system started making a knocking sound. The system was calling for heat however the system reached the temperature limit. I powered the system down and removed the access panel. Removed and cleaned carbon out of the burners and cleaned out the burner box. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The water pressure is at 15 psi and the limit is set for 180°F. I checked all the copper piping for signs of leaks and or corrosion. I powered the system back up and called for heat. I observed the system starting normally and took a combustion analysis test. I received the following readings, o2 is 8.1% and the co levels are 11ppm. I did hear a slight knocking noise. There could possibly be air in the system. The system is currently 30 years old is expected to make some noises as it gets old

Came out today for a no heat call on a high efficiency Lennox furnace model #SLP98VH070XV36B-04, serial #5913F17905. Upon arrival the homeowner had the system shut down. I powered the system back up and called for heat. The system tried to start then I received two error codes 276 and 228. 276 is a calibration failure and 228 is for a pressure switch that did not close. I removed the exhaust from the system and tried to start the system. I still kept getting The same error code for the pressure switch. I was able to jump out the pressure switch and get the system to start for a moment. The system ran without any issues. Recommend replacing the pressure switch to get the system operating properly. The system is from 2013 and may be under warranty. Chud office will have to reach out to the homeowner with a proper repair quote.

Returned with proper high limit switch that was diagnosed yesterday by Shane. After repair I tested the system. System operated without failure. System is operating properly at this time. Manufacturer York Model #P3URC16NO7501C Serial #EFHM653064

Came out today for a air flow issue after duct cleaning was performed. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that in the past it was always cold in the basement and hot upstairs. Since the duct cleaning it has been cold upstairs and hot downstairs. Upon inspection I could not find any dampeners in the system. I asked the homeowner if the registers were closed in the basement prior to the duct cleaning and she stated she had no idea. I found all the registers for the basement open and some on the second and third floor closed. I was able to adjust the registers to get the proper heat upstairs. The system is operating properly at this time. No charge call back.

Had to make modifications to exhaust venting coming off of HE furnace. Cut and replaced all of the original straps, which were causing the pvc to pitch backwards. After adjustments, I flushed from outside into a bucket on the inside and to check that the problem had been corrected. Re glued cuts made into pvc and tested system. Cycled and tested, system working properly at this time. Showed the customer with a level how all sections of pvc were pitched correctly after repair and showed him the water test. No charge.

Performed preventative maintenance on a Armstrong air furnace and a Lennox heat pump. Upon arrival I checked all electrical components to ensure good connections. I checked amps on both inducer and blower fans and all were in good range. I changed 16x25x1 filter in heat pump, 16x25x5 filter was replaced by homeowner 10/22. I watched both systems cycle on when call for heat was made and watched them cycle off when temperature was reached. I changed thermostat set point back to homeowners desired temperature. Both systems are working properly at this time.

Shane A.
Went to a no heat call, system said pressure switch open. Due to previous issues I cut the exhaust pipe and cleared out the pipe. And their was a lot of water in their due to the pipes not being pitched properly. After clearing the pipe out I cycled the system off and on multiple time. System is operating properly at this time. The exhaust run is approximately 56 feet we would need to replace this run to stop the problem for good because this is out third time doing this on a newly installed furnace.
