Performed preventative maintenance for a Coleman furnace model #TM8Y120C20MP11A, serial #W1K8221406. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that on 12/23 the system was making a grinding noise and then shut down. In order to get heat the homeowner had to reset the system at the shut off switch. The homeowner called another company and was told he needed a new inducer motor. The homeowner also stated that once he removed the Merv filter and inserted a standard filter the system started working working. Upon arrival the system was calling for heat. I took a combustion analysis test and received the following readings, o2 is 14% and the co levels are 8ppm. The inducer motor amp draw is .45 for first stage and 1.34 for the second stage heating. The blower motor amp draw is within normal range. In second stage the inducer motor is hitting the max rated amp draw. Chud installed the system on 5-23-19 and the system should still be under warranty. Checked all electrical connections to ensure that

Came out to perform preventative maintenance on a Lennox pump system. On arrival customer stated that the heater hasn’t been working well and compared to her neighbors system her bill is twice as much with the same chud installed system. System was running when I arrived, and the air temperature was 76°, coming out with a home temperature of 70°. I then tested the emergency heat to make sure that it was working OK. Found no issue with the emergency heat. I then opened up the evaporator cabinet panel to see if there was any signs of oil found oil immediately in the drain pan at the heat pump unit outside I found refrigerant lines to be frozen which is also a sign of refrigerant issues. Confirmed that the evaporator is leaking and will need to be replaced to fix the problem. Went onto the LennoxPros account to confirm the warranty. Customer is under manufacture warranty until 11/25/2023. System was installed by chud. We will follow up will repair time, date and any labor charges that app

Did a preventative maintenance on a gas boiler. During the maintenance I did a combustion test, the ppm was 48 and the O2 was 10. Did a amp check on the circulator which was running in the proper range. Pressure of the boiler was sitting at around 17. Watch the unit reach temp of 180° then watch it go back down to 160°F then watch the burners come back on. Check the expansion tank which is still good. Took out the burners and wiped them down of any dust or debris. System is operating properly at this point. M#CGA-4 PIDN s#381357804

Came out today for a no heat call. Upon inspection I found that the RUUD furnace was calling for heat . I observed the system start and run for about then shut down due to high temp. I removed the filter and found that the standard filter size 20x25x1 hasn’t been replaced since I performed preventative on 5-17-22. I explained to the homeowner that this air filter should be replaced every 2-3 months. In addition I highly recommended performing duct cleaning in the home to help improve the air quality. Charged for diagnostics today.

Came out to check on a heat pump system that was installed by chud in 5/2022. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that the thermostat says it is reaching the temp but she still feels cold. The thermostat was set for 75°F and it was indeed 75°F. I turned the system up to 78°F and observed the system heating. The supply temp is at 112°F, the air filter size 16x25x5 air filter was clogged. I replaced it with a standard filter so the homeowner could run the heat. The homeowner stated that she will purchase her own filter. After about 10 minutes the home had reached the desired temperature of 78°F. The system is operating properly at this time. No charge warranty check.

Showed up to a no heat call. Furnace was giving error code of open limit. Noticed the filter was filthy so I change that out and the unit was running fine. Instead of charging for a diagnostic call. I charge for preventative maintenance during the maintenance I changed out the 16 x 25 x 1 filter also clean the flame sensor cleaned out the burner rack and the blower motor housing overlooks the whole system and made sure all electrical connections were tight and secure system is running properly at this point. m#GMEC800803BNAA s#1910119800 customer has very bad water heater set up. Performed preventative maintenance for a crown boiler model #awr105enst2psu. Upon arrival I called for heat and took a combustion analysis test and received the following readings, o2 is 15.3% and the co levels are 13ppm. The water pressure is at 15psi and the limit is set for 180°F. Inspected the expansion tank and all copper piping for corrosion and leaks. The circulator pump is operating properly. I powered the system down and removed the access panel. Removed and cleaned carbon off of the burners and burner box. I checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I powered the system back up and called for heat. I observed the system heat until it reached the desired temperature. The system is operating properly at this time.

Came out today for a Dunkirk boiler not operating. Model #Bw1aan000105abaa, serial #4100v04737. Upon arrival I found the system calling for heat but there was no heat. Upon inspection I found that the system was not receiving power. I found the emergency shut off switch at the top of the stairs in the off position. I flipped it back on and the system started right up. The system is operating properly at this time.

Did A maintenance on a Lenox gas furnace. During the maintenance I clean the flame sensor, also cleaned out the burner box in the blower motor housing and I also wiped down the entire unit. Also looked over all the electrical connections to make sure they were tight and secure. I also did an amp check on the inducer motor and the blower motor which both meet the furnace specs. I also did a combustion analyzer test the CO level was seven and the O2 level was 17. Customer changed out to 20 x 25 x 1 filter previous to me arriving. System is operating properly at this point. Customer did not want his humidifier serviced. Also going to recommend a new water heater.m#SL280UH135V60D-03 s#5913D04283

Per RC we will return to replace the cartridge on a 0014 Taco circulator first to repair circulator from making rubbing noises. This is no charge due to system under new install warranty. This is first attempt to repair circulator issue. System was running on emergency secondary circulator. After installing the cartridge I tested the system. The primary circulator is now quiet like it should be. Found. O issue after repair. Shut down Emergency circulator and setup the system up the way it should be running. Customer also stated the 2nd floor bedroom at the end of the hall is still not operating properly. Inspected the zone valve again to see what’s going on. Upon inspection I found a broken wire that was not found last time on the zone valve. Cut off the weak section and remounted the wire. Valve opened up and was working without issue as well as presenting 24v. If problem persists a more in-depth repair may be necessary being this has been an ongoing issue. This is a billout. Circul

Came out to perform preventative maintenance for gas furnace. Inspected all the electrical components. Confirmed proper high and low voltages. Replaced the 14x25x1. Cleaned the burners, flame sensor and burner compartment. Performed a combustion analysis on the furnace. System is operating at 81.2% efficiency with a CO level of 64ppm. Found system return ductwork undersized as well as filter is undersized for a 100,000 btu furnace. Steve went over system improvement options and customer is interested in updating to an air cleaner and upsizing return duct work. Steve will follow up on Monday after he draws up the specs. Found microbial growth on the wall in the utility room that needs to be inspected/ tested by a remediation company. System is operating but not at peak performance. These upgrades will maximize system performance.

Do they maintenance on a Lennox heat pump. While starting up the heater I went to the heat pump outside and check the temperatures and pressures which all were in line with the spec sheet on the door of the heat pump. After that I crank the heat up hard to check the emergency heat and the amperage on the heat pack was a in line with the air handler spec sheet. After that I did a drain test from the evaporator coil everything was draining fine the condensate pump was very loud and does seem like it will fail soon. I will be recommending a new condensate pump will need to return I do not have one on my truck. Also shop vac to blower motor and dusted off all the electrical components in the air handler also checked supply and return Temperature. Also changed out to 20 x 24 by one filter system is running properly at this point. M#CBX32MV-048-230-6-06 s#1612K05258.

Performed preventative maintenance for newly installed boiler system. Cleaned burners and burner compartment. Inspected all the electrical components. Inspected piping for any leaking. Confirmed proper high and low voltages. Performed a combustion analysis on the boiler. System is operating at 83% efficiency with a CO level of 10ppm. PA was out April 2022 for primary circulator making a bunch of noise. Retested the circulator since it was shut down to see if there’s issues with it. Upon inspection I found the circulator still making rubbing noise. Spoke with RC and he recommended replacing the cartridge for the taco 0014 as first attempt to repair the circulator. This is covered under new install warranty. Will have to return to replace the cartridge. I also was out to inspect the heat zone down the far end of the second floor. Made adjustments to wires and was able to get it running. The thermostat was operating as it should as well as confirmed proper low voltage. FWI for boiler main

Completed Weil McLain boiler installation. Also installed 2 zone taco zone control panel and 2 taco zone valves with 2 Honeywell T1 thermostats. Adapted to existing electrical, gas, flue, and plumbing. Installed auto fill back flow preventer and spirovent air eliminator. Replaced st 12 expansion tank. Added new isolation valves and new copper fittings. Cycled and tested, system working properly at this time.

On arrival boiler was not operable. No water pressure in system and pilot was out. After looking over the boiler and the controls I advised the homeowner that the boiler system should be upgraded. I did not perform any maintenance service on the boiler because there are multiple issues. As a courtesy, I was able to get the pilot lit but this will not be a reliable heat source for the season. Outdated expansion tank, no automatic fill valve, no LWCO, purging valves are corroded. I provided homeowner with a written proposal to upgrade the system entirely based on age and condition for a reliable heat source this season. ***Waived diagnostic fee with signed proposal today***

Tested the system by calling for heat and performed a combustion analysis test. Readings are as followed, o2 13%, co 4ppm and the system is operating at 88% efficiency. The system is operating properly at this time.

System is calling for fan but the blower will not operate. Blower is receiving the proper voltage to operate. System was installed by chud in 2017 although the homeowner did not live here at that time. Please contact the homeowner with a proper repair quote. Lennox system model #sl280uh090v36b-04, serial #5917j13662. 8/31/22-PT- installed a new blower motor for the Lennox furnace. Connected all the proper wiring and tested the system. The system started without any issues. Called for ac and got a temperature split of 20. Homeowner has a Merv16 16x25x5 air filter that he will replace himself. Drain lines are clear and pump is operating. The system is operating properly at this time. Recommend performing maintenance on both systems. In the fall for heat maintenance and in the spring for ac maintenance.

Came out today for a Lennox system not operating properly. Upon inspection I found that the system had an error code of E201 indoor blower communication failure. The blower motor is receiving the proper voltage to operate but it still won’t turn on. Recommend replacing the blower motor to get the system operational. Chud office will have to reach out to the homeowner with a proper repair quote. Lennox system model #sl280uh090v36b-04, serial #5917j13662.

Came out today for for a system leaking. Upon inspection I found a puddle of water on the floor under the condensate pump. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. The drain pan is clear and there are no signs of water or that the system froze. The water is isolated at the pump area. The pump is old I recommended replacing it and the homeowner agreed. Installed a new pro select 115volt condensate pump. Connected all proper wiring and tested the system. The system is operating properly at this time. No charge for the call per PA.
