The three CHUD technicians/mechanics that installed our A.C. System (from scratch) did a great job. They were friendly and worked quickly and expertly. Tarps and booties were used to maximize cleanliness. They moved furniture as needed and reinstalled same. I have zero complaints. Looking forward to many years of cool comfort!

Five star service right from the beginning. I am a first-time customer. I knew that I was in good hands when I called and spoke to Tara. She was so incredibly nice and accommodating. She got me scheduled in right away for a dryer vent cleaning as she understood that I needed service asap due to the fact that birds were building their nests in my pipe. Keith and Tyler came out and did a wonderful job. Super nice guys who did the cleaning as well as added additional pipe and replaced my old vent cover. I will be using them again!
Response from Chud Air Conditioning & Heating:

Performed preventative maintenance for a Lennox furnace model #Sl280uh110v60c-05, serial #5917d13646. I powered the system down and removed the access panels. Removed and cleaned carbon off of the flame sensor and cleaned out the burners and burner box. Checked the pressure switch for clogs and checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. The blower motor and blower wheel are clean and in good condition. The air filter was recently replaced by the homeowner 20x25x1. I performed humidifier service for a healthy climate powered humidifier. I removed the old #35 water panel and cleaned out the housing and drain. I installed a new #35 water panel supplied by the homeowner. I powered the system back up and called for heat. Took a combustion analysis test and received the following readings, o2 is 10.5% and the co levels are 17ppm . I tested the humidifier for proper operation and leaks. The inducer motor amp draw is .26 and the blower motor amp

Perf Air duct cleaning and sanitation on a3 bedroom 2 system house. All vents and ductwork are clear of dust and debris at this time. Both systems are functioning properly at this time. Recommend duct cleaning every 3-4 years. Thank you for your business!

Investigated repeat no heat issue. On arrival thermostat was satisfied. Set for 66. Increased temperature to 70 degrees and unit started up with no issue. Since 2008, there are 15 service entries from previous contractor that shows drains had to be cleared along with inducer/pressure switch replacement. Intake/exhaust piping had to be cleared several times. Chud would recommend removing the 50’ gravity drain that handles condensation from a humidifier, the ac condensation, and exhaust condensation (heating mode) and adding a pump with a completely new drainage (3/4” PVC) to ensure proper drainage. Exhaust/intake pipes would need to be cut and blown out with a good shop vacuum. See estimate for details. ***Note that this is a repair attempt. System upgrade along with clearing or upsizing vent pipes may be required for reliable heating source during the winter season.*** N/C diagnostic today. York S#W0D6216167. Filter-16x25x1. ****Steve will be coming out after 1pm today to discuss

Did a maintenance on a gas furnace. During the maintenance I clean the flame sensor and cleaned out the burner box and blower motor housing. It changed out to 16 x 25 x 1 filter. I did a combustion test and the ppm was 36 and o2 was 9.7 also, did a amp check on the inducer motor and the blower motor and they both met the furnace specs. Ohm out the hot surface igniter which is in range. System is operating properly at this point. M#SL280UH090V36B-04 s#5920E12144

Homeowner will call to schedule f they’re in agreements with pricing. Homeowner advised they want duct repair scheduled first to eliminate mice getting into the home.

Replaced filter. Cycled and tested, system working properly at this time. Completed maintenance on system in attic. System is also 16 years old and in fair condition. Checked all components. Replaced filter. Cycled and tested, system working properly at this time. Will recommend customer start thinking about replacing both of their systems due to their age.

Installed REME halo air whole house air purifier. Supplied 24 volts to the device. Verified that the furnace is operating properly after installing the device and verified device is installed properly and working. Chud will register the device which has a 5 year warranty through the manufacturer. Chud will inspect the device during each maintenance service to ensure it is still working properly. Lennox gas furnace M#EL296UH090XV36C-06, S#5919H05356. Filter size MERV 16-20x25x5 (X6675). #35 panel fall. New Product: Reme Halo LED M#REME-H, S#Y3WRHL095.

Return to reconnect wiring for furnace. Water from a separate appliance (water filtration system) had a discharge line that was steadily sending water through the furnace/ac condensate lines and caused a water backup that soaked the heater and backed up into the coil pan and return air base. The unit dried overnight and today preseason maintenance was completed. A customer supplied MERV 16-20x25x5 filter was installed. All heating components were inspected and tested. Chud supplied #35 water panel was installed in an existing Honeywell bypass style humidifier. Condensate lines were checked. I did advise homeowner that some residual water may still be present around the return air base. Water should completely dry out within the next couple days. System currently operating properly at this time. Lennox M#EL296UH090XV36C-06, S#5919H05356. MERV 16-20x25x5 homeowner supplies own filters. #35 water panel fall.

Performed preventative maintenance for 1 RTU gas furnace. Replaced both air filters (2-16x25x2). Replaced the blower belt (A35) on EMS call a couple weeks ago and is still in good shape. Inspected all electrical components. Inspected and cleaned the burners and burner compartment. Burners and inducer are in fair condition lots of rust but are working as they should. Inspected the heat exchanger. The tubing is starting to rust but no holes found at this time. Performed a combustion analysis on the furnace. System is operating at 82.6% efficiency with a CO level of 38ppm. System is operating properly at this time. No charge due to commercial agreement.

Came out due to no air conditioning today. Customer stated a weird burning smell the other day and then it went away. Upon inspection I found the blower motor belt shredded and system not able to move any air. Replaced the A35 blower belt and tested the system. System was partially frozen at the bottom of the coil. Thawed it out before I put filters back in. System is now operating properly at this time. Customer has a commercial agreement. This is a billout.

Came out today for a system that had no power and was leaking. Upon inspection I found that the condensate pump and vinyl tubing were severely clogged and this caused the system to shut down. I replaced the condensate pump with vinyl tubing. I made all the proper connections and tested the system. Once I turned the power back on the system started right up. The system is operating properly at this time. Charged for parts only per office.

Surveyed home that is 4500 square feet. Currently has (2)-2.5 ton ac systems. Determined that a proper load calculation must be done first in order to make any adjustments or changes. RC is going to use a specific software that can be used on an iPad to perform work. Quote will also be provided to homeowner prior to us returning to complete this request. N/C to survey today.

Perform a standing pressure test at 300 psi with nitrogen in attempt to locate a leak. The system is currently void of 410A refrigerant at this time. During the pressure test performed at first glance I could not find a leak in the evaporator or the condensing unit. Digging deeper within the equipment I found at the suction line service valve bubbles coming out of the valve body itself. Took very high pressure to find this. Will need to replace this suction valve performed a pressure test after repair. Pull a deep vacuum at 500 microns and charge the unit with virgin 410A 6-7lbs. Test the system upon completion. This will take 4-6 hours labor with 1 tech. Office will follow up with estimate for repair. System is not operating at this time. Bryant air handler, M# 310AAV048135AGJA S# 1418A22316, and condenser, M# 113ANA042-C S# 0418E18166. this is a billout.

Completed survey of home. Homeowner has had additions added to the home has approximately 5000 square feet. The contractor that performed the renovations did not account for the additional square footage and just added runs from the existing systems. Will need to discuss this situation with general manager to see if we’re able to provide any solutions. Homeowner currently has (2)-separate 2.5 ton ac systems that are original prior to the renovations. Homeowner advised they were not able to get in contact with the contractor. N/C, SURVEY.

Collected deposit and signed proposal for upcoming installation scheduled for Friday, 07/29/22. N/C.

Performed diagnostic work on existing Bryant air handler. Indoor blower motor is not operable. The motor is not a PSC style motor and is an ECM style motor. Based on the interior condition of the air handler, it is recommended to upgrade the system due to mildew and excessive wear on coil and drain pan. Collected diagnostic charge for coming out, which can be applied to a replacement system. Pictures of the system are attached.

Estimate for adding ac only HVAC system. Will discuss project with RC. Homeowner is looking to have work completed in offseason. N/C
